3 Killer Ideas for Homemade Beer Dough

We made our 72 hour beer dough this week and now we want to show you how we used it.  We got all the bases covered: bread sticks, pizza, and pretzels with a homemade cheese dip. While there are many things you can do with dough, we really think these are the best three for pairings with beer.

1. Breadsticks- Take your 72 Hour Beer Dough, massage semolina into it, stretch it out to desired thickness, cut strips, bake at 400 degrees on top of Baking Steel for 8 minutes until browned.

2. Pretzels- Take your 240g dough ball and portion into 3 pieces. Traditionally, roll dough out thin and round, form pretzel shape. Dunk in boiling water with baking soda for 20 seconds. Remove, sprinkle with pretzel salt and bake on Baking Steel at 500 degrees for 8 minutes. Brush with melted butter when you remove them. Click here for our in depth super soft pretzel recipe.

3. Pizza- Take you dough ball and stretch out like you would with any pizza. Follow our broiler method to get insane char and cook on this pizza in under 4 minutes. We went with chorizo and roasted red peppers for this one.

SIDE NOTE: whole grain mustard and pepper jack nacho cheese dip are awesome accompaniments to these treats!
