A couple of weeks back, using the Baking Steel Griddle, we made a peanut butter and banana sandwich. I was so amazed at how well the peanut butter melted, I had to try it again. This time I went with a classic and griddled a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. We all grew up on Wonder Bread and Skippy's Peanut Butter. If you have been shopping lately, you've likely noticed the influx of boutique peanut butter companies sweeping the shelves. For this classic, we used Justin's All Natural Peanut Butter. Not only is the peanut butter itself, amazing but the story behind Justin and his brand is incredibly inspiring, I suggest you check it out.
Heat up your Griddle and grab some Justin's Peanut Butter and slap on some jelly, this sandwich will remind you of being a kid again.
